What to do before we arrive. Complete every step - an unprepared property usually means the treatment has to be repeated.
Sheets by pest
One PDF per treatment. Print it, or forward it to a tenant.
General preparation
These apply to most treatments. Your pest-specific sheet will list anything further.
- Make proper arrangements for us to access the premises
- Make sure pets are not indoors during treatment - chemicals can affect them
- Cover any fish tank with a towel and disconnect the circulation pump
- Clear kitchen countertops, or cover anything left out
- Keep away from treated areas for the time stated on your sheet
Re-entry times
These are stated on each sheet and vary by treatment:
- 6 hours - healthy adults and pets
- 8 hours - pregnant women (seek your doctor's advice), children and infants
- Gel baiting for cockroaches - you can stay on the premises during and after treatment
After treatment
You may notice more pest activity in the first few days. That is normal and expected - the treatment drives pests out of their harbourage. Do not wash or wipe out shelves, cupboards and drawers after a treatment and before placing items back.
